Dave Hill and Company 

Our mission is to present entertainment that enhances your events and makes them memorable.

Dave Hill and Company is made up of two divisions.  First and longest is "THE MAGIC".  This is the magical side of the company.  Second is "THE MUSIC"  This is the disc jockey side of the company.  Read about each division below.

 The Magic 

Dave Hill and Company was started by David Hill at age 14 when he performed his first show.  Since that time, more than 37 years have passed and he continues to develop and improve his shows for his audience.

When David first started, his sister Margy assisted him, on stage, with his illusions.  When David married, His wife Jan became his on-stage assistant, and Margy moved to be the stage manager and technical director.  As David and Jan's family grew, so did the number of Hills in the show.  Each of their three sons started performing with David and Jan when they were three. 

Each of the three sons has gone on to develop their own part in the show.  One son enjoys mystifying people with his card sleight of hand illusions.  Far more than just pick a card any card, but he can make your card appear when he wants to.  He also has added balloon animals to his talents. 

Another son has gone on to include juggling in addition to his magical skills.  He belongs to the American Society of Jugglers.  He  has demonstrated his juggling skills for many, schools, churches, and scouting events.

The third son, in addition to performing magic, has gone on to assist in the technical side of the show, working with the sound, lighting, and any special effects used during the show. 

Jan, is the director that makes all of these facets come together into a smoothly orchestrated magic show.

David and his sons have branched out and since 1999 have provided musical entertainment with their music machine.

They have entertained thousands of people at various scouting events within the Northern Illinois area as well as at holiday parties, They have performed at weddings, corporate events, birthday parties, anniversary parties and volunteered to help out at fund raisers for various charity groups.  They provide the emcee and keep events on time.  Their library of music, which they call their music machine has over 37,000 songs and is designed to entertain and amuse all ages.

They allow their clients to add to their entertainment with the addition of party lights.  This can be one or two effects to their full array of lighting effects,  all designed to bring the dance floor to life with dancing lights.  Clients can also use their karaoke machine as another add-on to allow their guests to get up and get into the party mode.  Both of these add-ons are complementary upgrades and provided at no additional charge.  All of this is designed to get your guest involved and up and dancing the night away.  

Watching this family work together to produce their shows, is one of lifes most memorable events.  It is reminisent of simpler times when families worked together for a common good.  All of the Hills really enjoy performing for you and want to see your event be the best that it can be.  They work with you and your staff to accomplish this goal.
